ARK: Genesis features beautiful biomes ripe for exploration. In Genesis 1, the simulator tests your mettle across fetid alien bogs, deep undersea trenches, frigid mountain peaks, dangerous volcanic hellscapes… and even the wild low-gravity surface of an alien moon. My game crashes whenever I try to start it. Maybe you can the latest version (329.9)
For anyone that has a problem with crashing after a few sec, I found a way that worked for me. Go to CODEX\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv132\Win64 and copy the files then go to your game files and replace the files from Engine with the ones from CODEX (ARK Survival Evolved Genesis Part 2\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv132\Win64), do the same thing with CODEX\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64 and copy and paste the files in ARK Survival Evolved Genesis Part 2\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64. Hope it works for you too!
Same here, game not launching, i just hear a song for 1 sec and nothing happens
The update came out in less than a month ago, s were reporting these bug a lot, so the developers had already released some patches to fix most of them, in the “Requests” section I asked for these updates, as I don’t think there’s actually a way to play with this version, the game just crashes at the start.
If I this, can I play it without using Steam or Epic Games launcher?
